Adobe Sign Pricing for Mortgage Brokers 2026
Review Adobe Acrobat Sign pricing in Australia, signing controls, audit evidence, lender acceptance and workflow fit for mortgage-broker files.

Adobe Sign pricing depends on whether you need Acrobat’s included signature tools or a quoted Acrobat Sign Solutions agreement. For Australian mortgage brokers, the deciding costs are sending licences, transaction volume and the signer controls your documents require.
A PDF-editing subscription can suit straightforward signature requests. A brokerage that needs stronger authentication, automated document handling or controlled retention needs to assess Sign Solutions against those requirements.
Adobe Sign Pricing and Plan Limits
Adobe’s Australian business pricing page directs Acrobat Sign Solutions buyers to sales for a quote. As at 3 October 2026, Acrobat Standard, Pro and Studio for teams use per-licence subscriptions with annual, billed-monthly options. Local advertised amounts are in Australian dollars and include goods and services tax (GST).
An annual plan billed monthly is an annual commitment. For a Sign Solutions quote, require the currency, GST treatment, contract term and payment schedule in writing, alongside the number of sending users. Adobe also describes high-volume arrangements based on a total transaction allowance with unlimited users.
Acrobat Sign user-licence plans generally include 150 transactions per user per year unless the contract says otherwise. A transaction is a document or related document collection sent to one or more recipients. Two borrowers signing one agreement therefore don’t automatically consume two transactions.
Adobe’s limits page lists unlimited signature transactions for Acrobat Standard and Pro outside its enterprise term agreements. Those products have different feature limits from Sign Solutions, so an unlimited allowance alone doesn’t establish that a plan fits your files.
| Cost or limit | What changes the purchase |
|---|---|
| Sending licences | Individual Acrobat subscriptions cover one user. Team plans add organisational licence management. Sign Solutions can use contracted user or volume arrangements. |
| Agreement volume | Count signing requests across all staff, including separate requests for the same client. Confirm the contracted allowance and extra-volume terms. |
| Authentication | Phone authentication in Sign Solutions is a premium, per-use service drawing on a purchased account-wide allowance. |
| Integration access | Include the exact connector or application programming interface (API) method in the quote. Enterprise integration credentials have separate availability requirements. |
| Implementation and support | Specify template setup, data mapping, training and the support entitlement. Treat any implementation fee as a separate quoted item. |
| Adobe bundle | Choose PDF editing or AI tools only where staff need them. Sign Solutions and Acrobat bundles have different entitlements. |
Which AI Product Is Included?
Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant is a document-question and summary tool included in Acrobat Studio and available as an add-on to other Acrobat plans. An AI-labelled Acrobat offer therefore doesn’t identify the Sign Solutions plan or its authentication allowance.
Adobe also has Agreement AI summaries within Sign Solutions. Its September 2026 technical notice describes a phased rollout to specified North American and European environments. An Australian signing purchase must identify the actual entitlement instead of assuming a bundle name includes every AI feature.
Price the signing service around your required sending volume and controls. Add an AI document tool only when its separate function serves the brokerage’s work.
Mortgage-Broker Signing Workflow
An Acrobat Sign workflow starts with the correct document version and named recipients, then ends with a completed PDF and its audit report stored in the client file. The following fictional example describes the documented process for a brokerage’s own authority form.
The example assumes the brokerage permits electronic signing for that form. It doesn’t establish acceptance of a lender’s application, mortgage document or solicitor’s instrument.
- Prepare a synthetic authority form using fictional borrower details. Create or reuse a template, then confirm that its wording and version match the document you intend to send.
- Enter each borrower as a separate recipient. Use sequential signing when one person must act first, or parallel signing when the document permits both to sign independently.
- Assign each signature, date and required information field to the correct borrower. Review prefilled values so one borrower doesn’t receive the other’s declaration.
- Apply the authentication method required for that document. Set reminders and an available completion deadline before sending.
- Send the agreement and monitor its progress. Each recipient follows their invitation, completes the configured authentication and signs their assigned fields.
- Once all required actions finish, download the completed PDF and audit report. Store both under the client file identifier, with the document version and acceptance record.
Authentication choices depend on the service tier and administrator settings. Phone authentication requires Sign Solutions and premium transactions. Access to an email invitation alone must not be recorded as a completed property identity check.
Sign Solutions administrators can control delegation by internal recipients at account or group level. External recipient delegation has its own controls. For a borrower declaration, configure delegation to match who is legally required to sign, rather than allowing someone else to take over by default.
Configurable completion deadlines require Sign Solutions and administrator enablement. Expiration follows the sending environment’s timing rules, so a completion deadline needs to match the actual transaction timetable.
Adobe’s agreement-management guide allows document and field replacement before the first recipient completes their action. A substantive change after someone signs needs a fresh signing process that covers the corrected document. Keep the earlier agreement’s status and history with the replacement.
Lender Acceptance and Audit Evidence
A lender or document owner must accept the signing method for the particular document. Adobe e signature controls govern how recipients sign and authenticate. Its completion evidence doesn’t decide document acceptance.
The Attorney-General’s Department explains that electronic signature consent can matter when sending documents to a private person or business. Different legislation and document-specific requirements can also apply. A witnessed instrument and a brokerage authority need separate acceptance decisions.
Before sending a lender form, identify its document name and version. Record the lender’s permitted signing route, required signer authentication and any witnessing instructions from its current document requirements. If a solicitor or settlement party controls the instrument, obtain that party’s instructions for it.
Where the instructions require the lender’s own signing invitation, use that route. A brokerage’s Adobe account doesn’t replace a mandated lender process. The electronic signatures guide explains the wider document and legal distinctions.
What the Audit Report Records
Adobe includes an audit report across its service tiers. The report identifies the agreement and its participants and records milestones from creation to its final status. Events can include invitation delivery, viewing, delegation, modifications and signatures or approvals.
Use the report’s participant details and event timestamps to reconcile who acted and when. Match its transaction identifier to the completed agreement. The authentication evidence must reflect the method used, rather than treating a displayed name as proof that government identification was checked.
IP addresses are omitted by default under Adobe’s current configuration guidance. An account administrator can enable their collection for agreement events. An IP address is a connection record, not proof of the signer’s identity.
Adobe applies a tamper seal to completed PDFs. Retain the original completed file so its integrity can be checked in Acrobat or Reader. Keep the audit report beside it, because the signed page alone doesn’t show the full sequence of events.
Sign Solutions has controls for broader audit detail, and Enterprise accounts can add granular information. Adobe also lets administrators suppress unauthenticated access to the audit report from its transaction-verification page. Configure that access to suit the sensitivity of borrower information.
Property verification of identity remains a separate requirement where the relevant party requires it. Choose the signing method after you know both the document’s acceptance rules and the evidence needed to demonstrate compliance.
Integrations, Security and Administration
Acrobat Sign has official integrations and custom API options, while a brokerage can also transfer completed files manually. The connection method determines which data moves, who can access it and where the final evidence resides.
| Connection | Classification | Data and direction |
|---|---|---|
| Acrobat signing and PDF tools | Adobe product capability | Prepare a document and send it for signature within the entitled Adobe workflow. |
| Acrobat Sign for Salesforce | Official integration package | Merge Salesforce record fields into agreements. Configured data mappings return signer data and files to Salesforce records. |
| Microsoft Power Automate | Official connector and automation service | A configured completion trigger can move a signed file from Acrobat Sign to a selected storage destination, such as SharePoint. |
| Custom system connection | API development | Code sends agreement inputs to Sign and retrieves configured status, documents or data. Access depends on the account’s developer entitlement and permissions. |
| Download and file attachment | Manual transfer | Staff download the PDF and audit report, then attach them to the customer relationship management (CRM) record or approved document store. |
Salesforce mappings require configuration against the brokerage’s actual objects and permissions. A connector listing doesn’t mean every mortgage CRM has that connection. Limit access to the records and document destinations the signing workflow needs.
Adobe’s integration-key documentation restricts those credentials to Enterprise accounts, with access enabled for the account. Integration keys inherit the creating user’s permissions and selected access scopes. Include that method in an implementation specification instead of assuming every subscription supports it.
Adobe will retire the embedded Power Automate experience in January 2027. Its notice says most existing flows continue running, with management moving to Microsoft Power Automate. Before that change, establish access there and identify any Premium licensing requirement.
Client Data and Retention
Adobe documents encryption for stored documents and data in transit. Encryption is one part of the brokerage’s assessment alongside staff permissions, sharing settings and the destinations used by connectors.
An Australian billing page doesn’t establish that every copy of a client document stays in Australia. Specify the contracted storage region and permitted cross-border handling, including connector destinations, against your brokerage’s client-data policy.
Configurable retention rules are supported in Sign Solutions, but not Acrobat Standard or Pro. They apply after an agreement reaches a completed, cancelled or expired state. Without a rule, agreements remain until removed through another process.
Set retention to preserve the completed document and its supporting evidence for your required record period. Downloading a PDF to the CRM doesn’t automatically preserve the audit report. Assign responsibility for both files and restrict their access when staff leave or change roles.
Acrobat business plans include organisational licence administration and support entitlements. For Sign Solutions, put the support channel and any response commitments in the contract alongside implementation responsibility. A brokerage still needs a nominated administrator to manage authentication, sharing and retention settings.
Who Adobe Sign Fits
Adobe Sign fits when its plan includes the controls your accepted documents require and its evidence reaches your client file without gaps. The best purchase depends on the number of sending staff and the work already handled in Adobe.
A solo broker with occasional brokerage-owned forms can start with Acrobat’s included signature tools if the forms permit that method. Sign Solutions becomes the relevant option when required authentication, deadlines or automated retention exceed those tools’ entitlements.
A growing brokerage benefits from shared templates, defined administration and configured filing. Buy against the total agreement volume and premium authentication demand across the team. Choose the quoted service only when its controls and automation justify the additional operating cost.
A team already using Acrobat or compatible Salesforce and Microsoft services can reduce manual handling through entitled official connections. Existing PDF editing licences still need separate assessment against the signing workflow’s requirements.
Compare Adobe Sign alternatives when required documents reject the method, evidence is insufficient or files need repeated manual repair. Compare Adobe Sign and DocuSign when both qualify for the same accepted workflow. The mortgage-broker e-signature software guide helps compare broader choices.
Before buying, give Adobe sales the required document controls, sending-user count and annual agreement volume. Require a quote that identifies the signing product, transaction allowance and authentication costs, with the evidence-storage method recorded alongside it.
