For HomeStart broker portal access, start on HomeStart’s official Brokers page and use its Login link for HomeStart Broker. For initial access or an account problem, contact the published broker team before sending client documents.
HomeStart’s applicant service is called HomeStart Online. Keep broker access questions separate from a customer’s account or home loan enquiry.
HomeStart Broker Registration or Access
As at October 2026, HomeStart’s Brokers page directs intermediaries to HomeStart Broker and links Login under Create a quote. Start from that professional page so the context of the sign-in is clear.
- Open the Brokers page. Use the Login link beside Create a quote or beneath the HomeStart Broker instruction.
- Check panel access with your aggregator if you aren’t sure HomeStart is available to your brokerage. Resolve that question before requesting a new account.
- If you need first-time access, contact the Business Development Specialist listed for your aggregator. Ask for the broker onboarding steps and your authorised sign-in route.
- Once access is arranged, sign in with your own broker account. Confirm that the service identifies your broker profile before entering applicant information.
A customer registration form asking you to create an applicant account belongs to a different task. Return to the Brokers page and use its broker contact if the destination doesn’t match the professional access you need. Don’t use your client’s credentials to obtain broker access.
Account and Partner Support
Use the broker contacts on HomeStart’s Brokers page for onboarding or help reaching the team responsible for your account. As at October 2026, that page lists Business Development Specialists by aggregator and a Third Party Relationships Leader.
For initial credentials, an inactive account or a permission error, ask your listed contact to arrange the correct access support. Describe whether you can’t sign in at all or can sign in but can’t use the required function. Those symptoms need different checks.
Include your brokerage name and registered work email in the request. Add your aggregator, the page address and the time the problem occurred. A redacted screenshot of the error can help, but leave out passwords, verification codes and applicant financial records.
For example, describe a permission problem as follows: “I can sign in with my broker account, but access is denied when I open the quote function. Please arrange a check of my account permissions.” Send it from your work email and supply identifying details through the support channel HomeStart directs you to use.
After support responds, repeat the action that failed. Recovery means your own account can reach the required broker function. If the error remains, reply with the new attempt time and error text so the team can continue the same enquiry.
Application Workflow and Applicant Boundary
Keep a broker-submitted application with the broker workflow and its HomeStart contact. As at October 2026, HomeStart’s application help says brokers provide application-status updates and upload documents for clients who apply through them.
For a new submission, use your authorised HomeStart broker process. If you’re unsure which submission route your account uses, ask your Business Development Specialist to direct you before creating an applicant application. For missing documents, a status query or a submission error, give the application reference through the authorised channel and identify the exact action needed.
If an application has a contract deadline, state its date in the escalation request. Ask who owns the next action and what remains outstanding. Keep a record of the response so you can explain the actual position to your client.
HomeStart Online’s applicant upload instructions describe the customer’s service. They don’t establish the upload screens for a broker account. A client who applied directly can use the customer service with their Home Loan Specialist, while a broker client can contact you for their application’s progress.
As at October 2026, HomeStart’s public contact page lists 1300 636 878 and a callback form. New loan enquiries use option 1. Existing customer enquiries use option 2 or myloan@homestart.com.au.
If you can’t access your broker account, call that public number and identify yourself as a broker needing the broker team. Use the applicant help pages to explain the customer’s next step, while your broker contact handles professional access and workflow questions. For other lenders, use the broker portal directory.
