IMB Bank Broker Access: Channels and Support

Confirm IMB Bank's current broker channel, avoid consumer Internet Banking, and prepare the right contact path for accreditation or a live file.

For the IMB broker portal, start with the Broker Centre link in the footer of IMB Bank’s website. It leads to IMB’s SharePoint destination. If you need accreditation or access help, call 133 462 and ask to be directed to the team handling broker enquiries.

Keep your professional access separate from the client’s Internet Banking account and consumer home loan application. For other lender destinations, use the broker portal directory.

Confirm IMB Bank’s Broker Channel

IMB Bank publishes a broker-specific entry through its website’s Broker Centre link, as at October 2026. The official destination is IMB Broker Centre, which redirects to Microsoft organisational sign-in.

That published entry establishes a broker destination. It doesn’t establish your brokerage’s accreditation, permission to submit a loan or access to a particular file. Keep any existing IMB or aggregator instructions beside it when resolving those questions.

  1. Open IMB Bank’s website and find Broker Centre under the IMB Bank footer heading.
  2. Follow that link to the IMB SharePoint destination. Use the account authorised for your professional access.
  3. If you receive an access error or don’t have an authorised account, use IMB’s contact page or call 133 462.
  4. Ask IMB to identify the access route and responsible contact for your brokerage. Record the destination and any access action it gives you.

Use that confirmed destination for the next attempt. A sign-in prompt alone doesn’t confirm that an account has broker permissions.

Avoid Customer Internet Banking

IMB Internet Banking manages a customer’s banking account, while Broker Centre is the separately published professional destination. IMB’s website keeps these entries separate, as at October 2026.

The IMB refinancing page also has consumer application and resume-application links. Those links belong to the direct home loan journey. Don’t treat them as evidence that a broker can lodge or track a file under their professional account.

Start from the bank’s website when checking a destination. The hostname must be exactly imb.com.au or a genuine subdomain of it for an IMB-owned website address. An address that merely contains the bank’s name can belong to someone else.

Broker Centre is hosted on SharePoint, so its hostname differs from the bank’s website. The first-party footer link establishes the connection to imbbank.sharepoint.com/sites/imbbrokerportal. Follow that link instead of accepting a similarly named address from a search result or unsolicited message.

For an unfamiliar redirect or request for client information, call the number on IMB’s contact page before proceeding. Keep your client’s banking password and verification codes out of broker access requests.

Request Accreditation or Access Help

A new channel enquiry asks whether your brokerage can submit business to IMB. An existing access problem asks how to restore an authorised account. Identify which problem you have before contacting the bank.

As at October 2026, IMB’s contact page publishes 133 462 and a General Enquiry Form. Use them to request the responsible broker contact when your existing instructions don’t identify one.

Have these details ready for the enquiry.

  • Broker and brokerage names.
  • Aggregator, if applicable.
  • Accreditation status, including any IMB broker reference already issued.
  • Your business email and callback number.
  • Whether you need a new channel arrangement, account activation or help with existing access.

These details explain your request. They aren’t an IMB accreditation checklist or proof that accreditation is approved.

For existing access, include the address you opened and the exact error. State whether sign-in fails or sign-in succeeds but access is denied. Ask IMB to confirm the authorised account and arrange the required permission or recovery action.

If the error occurs after changing brokerage or business email, mention that change. Send a cropped screenshot of the error only through the support channel IMB identifies. Remove unrelated client information first.

Route an IMB Application Enquiry

Send a live-file question to the contact already handling the IMB application. If you don’t have that contact, call 133 462 and request the team responsible for the file.

As at October 2026, IMB’s home loan enquiry page connects a public enquiry with a home loan specialist. Its contact page is the fallback for reaching the bank. Neither route is confirmation that a broker has lodged an application.

For a scenario question, explain that no application has been submitted and state the question you need answered. For an existing application, distinguish a processing update from an outstanding condition or settlement issue. Give the responsible contact the file reference and the action you need.

When portal access is unavailable, keep a short enquiry record with the following details.

  • The application reference, or a clear statement that none has been issued.
  • The current stage and date of the latest update.
  • The deadline, including the agreed settlement date where relevant.
  • The unresolved action and who last requested it.
  • Your contact details and authority to discuss the file.

For example, a hypothetical settlement enquiry could read: “Application reference IMB-example. Loan documents returned. Settlement booked for 16 October 2026. Please confirm receipt of the documents and identify any action still required from the broker.”

For discharge of an existing IMB mortgage, use the separate IMB discharge route, as at October 2026. Keep that request distinct from the new lender’s application or settlement enquiry.

Ask the team to confirm the next action and who owns it. Record the reply against the application reference so your follow-up reaches the same file and responsible contact.
