The Keystart broker portal is linked from Keystart’s Broker Hub, and new brokers begin accreditation through its Broker Support Team. Applications are lodged through Loanapp. Choose the destination for the task you need to complete, because broker accreditation and applicant tracking use separate services.
Keystart Broker Registration and Access
Keystart calls its approval process broker accreditation, as at October 2026. Its accreditation guide gives the following sequence.
- Contact Broker Support on 1300 366 055 or email brokersupport@keystart.com.au. The team sends the Broker Portal link for the online accreditation module.
- Complete the module, which Keystart estimates takes approximately 45 minutes.
- Send Broker Support the completed accreditation form and a current Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) or Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) certificate. Include an anti-money laundering certificate dated within the last two years. Brokers with less than two years’ industry experience also need a mentorship letter.
- Wait for approval. Keystart sends the accreditation confirmation to both you and your aggregator.
Creating a portal account and completing training are separate from accreditation approval. Before lodging as an accredited broker, keep the confirmation with your records. Keystart says accreditation lasts 12 months from the later of your last completed module or most recent application lodgement.
For returning brokers, the official Broker Portal uses the hostname keystartbrokers.powerhousehub.net. Open it through the Broker Hub and compare the address before entering credentials. If an invitation points elsewhere, ask Broker Support to confirm that destination before supplying client information.
Account and Permission Problems
Use the portal’s Forgot Username/Password? route for lost credentials, and Broker Support for accreditation or access questions. As at October 2026, the recovery page asks for your registered email address and sends a password-change link. It says delivery can take several minutes and advises checking junk mail.
Different symptoms need different requests.
| What you observe | What to check | Where to take the problem |
|---|---|---|
| You have never received access instructions | Whether Broker Support has your accreditation request and correct work email | Broker Support, asking for the initial portal link |
| You created an account or completed training but have no accreditation confirmation | Whether the team received your accreditation documents | Broker Support, asking for the outstanding approval step |
| You cannot remember your credentials | The email address registered on the Broker Portal | The portal recovery route, then Broker Support if recovery fails |
| You can sign in but cannot perform the required action | Which service you opened and the exact action that is blocked | Broker Support, asking whether your account needs activation or an authorised role |
A password reset changes credentials. It does not establish accreditation or grant a colleague permission to use your account. Ask Broker Support to arrange the appropriate access for support staff before anyone handles a client file under a new role.
Give support your name, brokerage, aggregator and registered work email. Add your broker or accreditation identifier if you have one, the affected service, the time of the failure and the error wording. Crop any screenshot to remove applicant information and recovery links.
Keep passwords and verification codes out of the request. An access enquiry normally needs your broker details and the blocked action, so leave identity documents and bank statements out of the first message.
Application Workflow Support
Use Loanapp for application lodgement and Broker Support for Keystart workflow questions. As at October 2026, Keystart’s application submission guide sets out these steps.
- Open Loanapp through your customer relationship management (CRM) system if it is integrated. Otherwise, use the supplied Loanapp credentials to complete the application directly.
- Check for the Simpology email confirming successful application registration.
- Upload supporting documents through Loanapp’s Supporting Documents tab. The customer consent form and identifier certificate are mandatory. Keystart directs brokers to the Broker Portal’s Downloads section for these forms.
- Have your client complete the email and mobile registration requested by Keystart. That registration is required for the application to progress to the assessment queue.
If a file appears missing, compare the application reference with the registration confirmation before starting another application. For a document problem, record the document name and whether the failure occurred during upload or after submission. Ask Broker Support to confirm receipt or the next submission action for that reference.
For a progress enquiry, provide the application reference and current stage. Describe the last action completed and request the outstanding item or next step. Broker Support can be reached on 1300 366 055 or brokersupport@keystart.com.au without signing into the portal.
The Application Tracker terms, updated 18 August 2025, describe a separate service for applicants to track an application during the credit process. Those terms prohibit sharing tracker credentials or registering another natural person’s account.
Your client completes their own registration. Keep professional lodgement and file enquiries with Broker Support.
When No Broker Login is Available
If you cannot reach a broker login, start again from Keystart’s public Broker Hub. As at October 2026, it links a Broker Portal and lists the Broker Support Team. A broken bookmark alone does not tell you whether your account is inactive or the service is unavailable.
Try the current Hub link and note what happens. A page that fails to load needs a destination or availability check. A loaded sign-in page with rejected credentials needs account recovery.
A successful sign-in with a blocked action needs an access or workflow enquiry.
If the Hub link is missing or fails, call Broker Support and ask for the current professional destination and your account’s status. Include the application stage and reference, if one exists, plus the action you cannot complete. For example, explain that you can access training but need to lodge an application, or that a registered application needs a missing-document follow-up.
Resume when the team confirms the correct destination and you can complete the required action with your own authorised access. Keep that confirmation and any application receipt in the file. For another lender’s workspace, use the Australian broker portal directory.
