Access Shift Connect, join Shift's broker network and route business-credit, asset-finance, settlement-control or BDM questions.

Shift Connect is the Shift broker portal for submitting business-finance applications, reviewing contracts and initiating settlements. Open Shift’s broker page and use its broker login, or join the network if you need accreditation.

Shift Online is the separate customer workspace. Choose the destination for your role before troubleshooting access or chasing a file.

Shift Connect and Shift Online

Use Shift Connect for broker work and Shift Online for your client’s account servicing. As at October 2026, Shift’s broker page links Broker & Partner to partners.shift.com.au. Its customer login links to my.shift.com.au.

Shift Connect supports application submission and broker control of the settlement process. Shift Online lets customers view their accounts, access funds and manage business payments. Its Shift Online information explains that route.

To reach your broker workspace:

  1. Open Shift’s broker page and select Log in or Broker & Partner.
  2. Use your own broker credentials at the destination linked by Shift.
  3. After signing in, confirm that you’re working with the intended client and facility before taking a file action.

Keep your client’s Shift Online access separate from your broker access. A customer sign-in doesn’t establish broker permissions, and the two destinations aren’t interchangeable. If you need a different lender’s workspace, use the Australian broker portal directory.

Join the Shift Broker Network

Start broker accreditation through Shift’s Join the network page. As at October 2026, that page distinguishes directors from individual loan writers and gives different preparation requirements.

For a director, have these details ready:

  • Your Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • Your driver’s licence or passport number.
  • A bank account for receiving commissions.
  • Your industry membership certificate.

A loan writer needs the brokerage’s ABN, their own driver’s licence or passport number and Shift’s onboarding form signed by the brokerage director. The signed form connects the individual writer’s request to the brokerage.

Follow this sequence:

  1. Prepare the information for your role. Use the director requirements when registering as a director and the loan-writer requirements when joining as an individual writer.
  2. Select Get started on Shift’s network page. It links to Shift’s registration service at register.shift.com.au.
  3. Complete the registration prompts for your request and retain any confirmation you receive.
  4. Establish your own Shift Connect access before trying to submit a client’s application.

If registration won’t complete, email accreditations@shift.com.au with your role, brokerage name and the step that failed. An individual writer needing a director-signed form must involve their brokerage director. If the issue’s owner is unclear, use Shift’s general contact route below to have it directed to the appropriate team.

Applications and Settlement Control

Shift Connect lets brokers submit applications, review contracts and initiate settlements, according to Shift’s broker page as at October 2026. Keep those actions separate in your file notes: a submitted application, a reviewed contract and an initiated settlement are different stages.

Before taking the next action, identify the facility and application reference. Check the current file stage and outstanding requests. Then perform the available action and retain its confirmation or record the unresolved issue.

Use the symptom to decide what to resolve:

You can’t sign in to the broker destinationWhether you’re using the Broker & Partner route and your own broker accountContact Shift about access, including the failing step and error.
You can sign in but can’t find the intended applicationClient identity, application reference and brokerage accountAsk Shift to identify the file and confirm your access to it.

A contract or settlement action is unresolvedThe outstanding action, file stage and required settlement dateAsk Shift’s broker team to identify the next action and its owner.

For example, a working login with an outstanding document request needs a response to that request. Resetting a password doesn’t supply the document. If the workspace itself fails, capture the error and time so Shift can investigate access separately.

After any correction, return to the same file and confirm that the expected action succeeded. Keep the application reference, confirmation and next outstanding action in your notes. Initiating a settlement doesn’t by itself establish that settlement has completed.

State BDM and General Support

Use Shift’s national broker directory to find a local business development manager (BDM) for scenario or relationship support. As at October 2026, the directory has state and territory selections and includes asset-finance relationship contacts.

Choose your state or territory, then use the relevant listed contact. Describe whether your enquiry concerns business credit or asset finance so the contact can direct the file appropriately.

For broker enquiries, Shift’s contact page lists 1300 249 649, option 1. General enquiries use contact@shift.com.au or the same phone number. Use that general route when you need Shift to establish who owns an unresolved access issue.

Prepare the following information before escalating:

  • Your name, brokerage and broker sign-in email.
  • The facility type and client or business name.
  • The application reference, if one exists.
  • The current stage and the action you can’t complete.
  • The exact error, when it occurred and any relevant screenshot.
  • The settlement date or other deadline.

Ask the receiving team to identify the next action and who will perform it. Record the response, then confirm the file or access issue is resolved before closing the follow-up.
