Thinktank Broker Portal: Access and Loan Support
Verify Thinktank's broker access and route onboarding, account and file questions to the correct commercial or residential support channel.

To reach Thinktank broker services, start at its official Brokers page and use the support channel for your commercial or residential file. For a blocked account or unclear application destination, call 1300 163 184 and ask for broker support.
Official Thinktank Broker Entry
Start at Thinktank’s Brokers page for Australian property-lending resources and broker contacts. As at October 2026, its navigation separates broker resources from the authenticated Customer Portal.
The lender’s site uses thinktank.au and identifies Think Tank Group Pty Ltd, with Australian credit licence 564080. Match that identity when a search result uses a similar name. Follow links from the lender’s site instead of treating an unrelated service called Thinktank as the broker destination.
Thinktank’s public navigation links to the Customer Portal at www.customer.thinktank.net.au. The contact page describes that portal as access to loan account details, basic transactions and requests. For broker application access, use the destination supplied for your accreditation or file and have broker support confirm it if the address is unclear.
A borrower-facing login and a broker’s application instructions can serve different jobs. Keep the Customer Portal label attached to that destination when helping a client access their loan account.
Onboarding and Account Access
Resolve first access through Thinktank’s broker team and your aggregator’s accreditation contact before treating the problem as a forgotten password. Thinktank’s commercial property loan distribution conditions, dated 11 December 2025, permit distribution through brokers and aggregators under documented agreements.
Those commercial distribution conditions allow Thinktank to require training and accreditation. Thinktank can refuse an application from a member who has not completed its required accreditation process. For the intended loan channel, ask broker support to confirm your accreditation status and supply the applicable access instructions.
Use the symptom to make the support request specific:
| What you see | What to check | What to request |
|---|---|---|
| You have never received access instructions | Broker identity, brokerage and aggregator recorded for accreditation | Confirmation of the remaining onboarding step and the correct access destination |
| Your credentials are rejected | The destination matches the instructions you received and you are using your own registered account | Recovery instructions for that account through broker support |
| You sign in but cannot see an expected file | Application reference, submitting broker and receiving team | Confirmation of the file’s owner and your permission to view it |
| You receive a link intended for a customer | The page’s purpose and the account it relates to | Broker access instructions for your task |
For account help, use 1300 163 184 or the enquiry form on Thinktank’s contact page, as at October 2026. Include the error text and affected address. Keep passwords and authentication codes out of the request.
After support resolves the issue, repeat the affected action using your own account. For a visibility problem, confirm that the intended application reference appears before continuing work on the file.
Commercial and Residential File Routing
Thinktank publishes separate commercial and residential support email addresses in its March 2026 relationships contact sheet. It lists residential support at brokersupport@thinktank.au and commercial support at deal@thinktank.au, with general enquiries on 1300 163 184, option 1.
| File or question | Starting contact | Information to include |
|---|---|---|
| Residential application visibility or processing | Residential broker support | Application reference, submitting broker and latest acknowledgement |
| Commercial application visibility or processing | Commercial deal team | Application reference, named receiving contact and outstanding action |
| Scenario discussion or business development manager (BDM) help | Your assigned BDM, or the state-filtered directory on Thinktank’s contact page | Loan purpose, proposed product channel and the question requiring a decision |
| Unclear channel or missing receiving contact | General enquiries, option 1 | Submission date, loan purpose and the source of any acknowledgement |
These addresses identify support routes. For a live file, follow the receiving team’s document instructions and ask that team for its current processing status. Include any settlement deadline and explain the consequence of delay without assuming a turnaround time.
Confirm the Loan-Channel Owner
Identify the receiving team from the proposed loan purpose, selected product channel and application acknowledgement before redirecting a live Thinktank file. A property description alone does not establish which team holds your submission.
- Read the submission record. Note the loan purpose, product selected and application reference.
- Match the acknowledgement to that record. Identify the named contact or support address that received the matter.
- Ask that contact to confirm ownership. If the record is unclear, use Thinktank’s general enquiries route, listed in its March 2026 contact sheet.
- Record the answer in your file notes. Include the receiving team, named contact, next action and any agreed follow-up date.
- If a transfer is required, obtain the receiving team’s instructions. Confirm which reference remains active before sending further documents or lodging again.
For example, a hypothetical commercial refinance sent to residential support needs an ownership check before another submission. Ask the original recipient whether the file is being transferred and who will acknowledge receipt. Keep that acknowledgement with the original application record.
The handover is complete when a named team confirms receipt and gives you the next action for the same matter. For another lender’s access route, use the broker portal directory.
