Choose a finance lookup by the question you need to answer. A bank branch code identifies where an account is held. An industry code classifies the work a business does.
Find the Right Code
Use the bank state branch (BSB) lookup to identify the bank and branch for a BSB. A matching BSB does not verify the account holder’s identity or ownership of an account.
For a business activity, use the business industry code lookup to find the relevant classification. Start with what the business actually does, rather than its trading name alone.
Neither code lookup determines a lender’s decision on the client’s application. Use the result for the relevant field in your client file.
