Liberty Broker Portal: Onboarding and Loan Support

Need Liberty broker portal access for an Australian home-loan file? Follow accreditation and recovery steps, then route scenario or processing help.

The Liberty broker portal is Liberty IQ, Liberty Financial’s sign-in for accredited brokers at iq.liberty.com.au. You use it to prequalify clients and follow live applications. Access starts with an accreditation request, because as at October 2026 the Liberty IQ sign-in screen has no sign-up option.

Once a Liberty specialist verifies your request, Liberty emails your username and texts your password. Password recovery runs through the same sign-in screen. Policy scenarios and processing questions go to your Liberty business development manager (BDM) or to Liberty’s main number, 13 11 33.

Liberty Financial Australia Broker Portal

Liberty Financial’s broker portal is Liberty IQ, reached from Liberty’s broker page or the “Business partners login” link in the liberty.com.au footer. As at October 2026, Liberty’s own pages write the name as two words, Liberty IQ. LibertyIQ, written as one word, is the same portal.

Liberty IQ is for accredited brokers, which Liberty calls introducers or business partners. Its sign-in screen reads “Access your introducer portal”. Liberty IQ’s own description says it gives brokers tools to prequalify customers and get real-time updates on applications.

Confirm You’re on the Australian Lender’s Site

Several businesses unrelated to Liberty Financial use the Liberty name, so check the company before you enter a password. Liberty Financial is the Australian non-bank lender at liberty.com.au, and its broker portal lives at iq.liberty.com.au.

Liberty Financial’s footer also lists debt investor, Liberty store and lender partner logins. None of them is the broker workspace. Liberty IQ also lists Insurance by LFI as an accreditation option, but this guide covers home-loan access, not insurance.

Public Broker Page and Liberty IQ

Liberty’s public broker page is information only. It summarises home loans, asset finance, business loans, self-managed super fund (SMSF) loans and commercial loans. Each product card ends with “Get accredited” and “Log in for full details”.

Liberty IQ holds the product detail behind those cards. Liberty Financial Pty Ltd owns it, and your use is governed by its Terms of Use and the Universal Introducer Agreement you sign with Liberty. Under those terms, your clients mustn’t use Liberty IQ or see the information it shows.

Start from liberty.com.au/broker and follow the Liberty IQ link to iq.liberty.com.au. Liberty redirects you to authentication.iq.liberty.com.au to sign in.

Check that the sign-in address uses that exact hostname before entering your password. If it uses another hostname, close it and start again from Liberty’s broker page.

Liberty Advisers Are a Different Route

Some brokers who search for a Liberty mortgage broker mean Liberty Advisers. Those advisers belong to Liberty Network Services (LNS), the aggregator Liberty Financial owns. Joining that network is a separate decision from accreditation, and it starts at Liberty’s “Become a Liberty Adviser” page.

Brokers with any other aggregator get access to Liberty’s loans through Liberty IQ accreditation. New brokers still choosing a group can compare options in the guide to choosing an aggregator. Sign-in pages for other lenders are listed in the broker portal directory.

Onboarding and Accreditation

To get Liberty IQ access, submit Liberty’s online accreditation form, wait for a Liberty specialist to verify it, then sign in with the credentials Liberty sends. As at October 2026, the form opens from the “Get accredited” button on Liberty’s broker page, at iq.liberty.com.au/#/get-accredited. The process starts with your own submission, not an invitation from Liberty.

Have these details ready before you open the form:

  • your full name, Australian mobile number and email address
  • your company name and street address
  • your Australian credit licence (ACL) number, or your credit representative number (CRN) if you work under someone else’s licence
  • your aggregator’s name, which the form treats as optional

Use your own mobile number and email address, because Liberty sends your login details to them. The credit representative guide explains how a CRN differs from holding your own licence.

Complete the Accreditation Form in Order

  1. Open the form. Start from liberty.com.au/broker and select “Get accredited”, rather than following a link from an email.
  2. Enter your personal information. The form requires your first and last name, an Australian mobile number and an email address. A landline, fax and second email are optional.
  3. Enter your company information. Add the company name and your ACL or CRN, using digits only. The form accepts 4 to 12 digits. Then add the street address, suburb, postcode and state, plus your aggregator if you have one.
  4. Select your products. Tick Residential for home loans. Commercial, SMSF, Motor, Business and Insurance by LFI are separate options, and you must pick at least one.
  5. Submit and wait for verification. The final “All Set” screen says one of Liberty’s specialists will verify your accreditation.
  6. Activate your login. When verification is complete, Liberty sends your username by email and your password by SMS. Sign in at iq.liberty.com.au with those details.

Check the result after your first sign-in. Liberty accredits brokers for each product they select, so Residential must be on your accreditation before you submit a home-loan file. If you ticked only Motor or Business, ask Liberty to add Residential first.

Login and Account Recovery

Recover a Liberty IQ login from the sign-in screen itself. Select “Forgot your password?” under the password field. If that doesn’t fix it, use the help contacts printed on the same screen, which are introducer@liberty.com.au and 13 11 33.

As at October 2026, the Liberty IQ sign-in form asks for an email address and password, with an optional “Keep me signed in” box. The screen has no option to create an account. A broker without a login goes to “Start your accreditation process” instead.

Residential access uses the same Liberty IQ login as Liberty’s other broker products. What you can work on depends on the products in your accreditation, not on a separate residential site. Motor and equipment lending policy is covered in the Liberty asset finance policy guide.

Identify the Fault Before You Call

Most Liberty IQ problems fall into one of five groups. The symptom usually tells you which group you’re in, and each group has a different fix.

Work Through the Checks in Order

  1. Check the destination. Online.liberty.com.au is the login for Liberty’s borrowers, not brokers.
  2. Check the browser. Liberty’s sign-in page shows “We can’t sign you in” when cookies are blocked. Allow cookies, or try another browser, before resetting anything.
  3. Reset the password. Select “Forgot your password?” and follow the prompts with the email address you sign in with.
  4. Check activation. If you’re newly accredited and never received the password text, the mobile number on your form is the first thing to confirm.
  5. Check product access. If you can sign in but can’t work on a home loan, your accreditation might not include Residential.
  6. Escalate. Email introducer@liberty.com.au or call 13 11 33, which Liberty answers from 8am to 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), Monday to Friday.

Send Safe Evidence When You Escalate

Give Liberty enough detail to find your account without exposing your login. Liberty IQ’s terms say you must never share your username or password with anyone. If you suspect someone else knows them, call 13 11 33 straight away.

Include these details in your email or call:

  • your full name, company name and the email address you sign in with
  • your ACL number or CRN
  • the date and time of the failed attempt
  • the exact error text, or a screenshot that shows the address bar but no password
  • the browser and device you used
  • the checks you’ve already done from the list above

Loan and Scenario Support

Send a Liberty policy scenario to your Liberty BDM, follow a live file in Liberty IQ and use 13 11 33 when you can’t reach your BDM. As at October 2026, Liberty’s broker page directs brokers to 13 11 33 for more information. If you don’t know who your BDM is, ask on that number.

What you needWhere to startWhat to have ready

Liberty IQ’s terms say Liberty can send email and SMS notifications about the status of applications you’ve submitted. Check those messages and Liberty IQ before you chase a file by phone, and quote the last update you saw when you call.

Prepare a Scenario Before You Ask

Before you apply, discuss a scenario that isn’t straightforward with Liberty. Liberty’s December 2019 broker tips name unusual income and credit blemishes as examples worth discussing first. The same tips suggest a cover sheet that summarises the client’s situation and goals.

Verify these facts from the client’s documents before your enquiry:

  • borrower type, such as a company or an SMSF trustee
  • income type for each applicant, such as pay as you go (PAYG), self-employed or contract income, and the evidence you hold for it
  • employment or trading history, with start dates
  • credit history events, such as defaults or late payments, with dates and amounts
  • existing debts and their repayments
  • deposit amount and where it came from
  • loan amount, loan purpose and the loan-to-value ratio (LVR)
  • property type, location and postcode
  • the property value and whether it comes from a contract, valuation or estimate

Liberty’s own rules for these facts sit in the Liberty lender policy guide. Check that guide before you ask the BDM, so the question names the rule you’re testing. An SMSF purchase also goes through a different product, covered in the Liberty SMSF loans guide.

Here’s a sample enquiry using hypothetical figures:

Self-employed sole trader, Australian business number (ABN) held for 18 months, income verified with business activity statements (BAS) and bank statements. Purchase price $700,000, loan $560,000, so the LVR is 80%. One paid default of $1,200 from March 2024. Owner-occupied house in postcode 3029. Can Liberty consider this under its residential policy?

Before you contact Liberty, you can check the policy side of that enquiry in Bulma. Its Policy Advisor answers questions about Liberty’s lending policy and quotes the policy wording behind each answer, which you can keep in your file notes.

Bulma doesn’t connect to Liberty IQ or lodge applications, so submission and file tracking stay in Liberty’s systems.

Send the enquiry once the facts match the documents and you’ve checked Liberty’s policy on the deciding point. If your BDM confirms the scenario fits, submit the application under the product you’re accredited for. Then follow the file in Liberty IQ’s application updates.

Check the policy behind your next scenario

Ask Bulma a lender policy question and inspect the source behind the answer.
