Azora Asset Finance: Broker Guide

Considering Azora asset finance? Confirm the current commercial purpose, borrower, asset, evidence, broker-platform and submission requirements.

Azora asset finance funds business vehicles, equipment and machinery through its Streamline and Accelerate products, with brokers quoting and lodging through Azora X. Streamline targets established businesses, while Accelerate has a shorter trading-history pathway. Choose the pathway from the borrower’s business profile before preparing the transaction and supporting records.

Compare the lender-specific guides in the asset-finance policy directory when assessing another commercial lender.

Commercial Purpose and Product Route

Azora’s commercial asset-finance range covers assets used by a business, including vehicles and machinery, as at October 2026. Its asset-finance page identifies Streamline for businesses with two or more years in business. Accelerate targets emerging businesses from six months in business.

The commercial lender named in Azora’s June 2025 product guide is Azora Asset Finance Pty Ltd, Australian Company Number (ACN) 087 826 159. Azora’s current privacy policy also lists this entity. Keep that legal name separate from Azora Finance Group and the group’s consumer-loan entities when recording the lender on a commercial file.

Describe what the asset will do in the client’s business. A delivery van replacing an existing vehicle has a different purpose from a car bought mainly for personal use. Azora markets consumer car loans separately, so select the commercial product from the actual transaction purpose.

Record the proposed borrower and who will own the asset under the contract. The approved contract sets the finance structure, security and repayment obligations. For a wider explanation of ownership under different structures, use the asset-finance guide.

Borrower and Trading Profile

Azora’s published trading-history starting points are two years for Streamline and six months for Accelerate, as at October 2026. These starting points help select a product for assessment. They do not establish approval for every business meeting that age.

Build a borrower profile that identifies the legal entity and the people behind it. Record the Australian Business Number (ABN), registration dates, ownership and directors, plus the industry and actual trading activity. Include goods and services tax (GST) registration and any change from a sole trader to a company.

Use actual trading history alongside registration history. A recently registered company that continues an older business needs an explanation of continuity. A new ABN on its own does not explain which business earned the income or incurred existing debts.

For a company, record directors and proposed guarantors. For a trust, identify the trustee and provide the ownership structure. Give Azora credit a specific question about the proposed entity and guarantees before relying on a pathway for that structure.

An operating history below six months sits outside Accelerate’s published starting point. Send the commencement date and any predecessor-business history with an exception enquiry. Also identify credit defaults, existing asset loans and current repayment conduct, with supporting explanations where needed.

Asset, Supplier and Amount

Azora’s commercial range includes business-use motor vehicles, trucks, vans, prime movers, equipment and machinery in its official information updated in June 2026. Match the actual asset to the product selected for the borrower. A broad equipment category does not establish acceptance of every specialised asset.

Prepare the transaction details before quoting:

  • Describe the make and model, year of manufacture and intended business use.
  • Record the purchase price, deposit and amount requested, including any costs proposed for financing.
  • Identify the supplier and whether the sale is through a dealer, auction or private seller.
  • Collect the quote or invoice and the vehicle identification number or equipment serial number.
  • Identify the owner, existing finance and any payout needed to release security.
  • Set out the requested term and any proposed final balloon payment.

Calculate the asset’s age at the proposed loan end. In a hypothetical example, a ten-year-old truck on a five-year term will be fifteen years old at the end.

That calculation identifies the age to assess against the chosen product’s rules. It does not establish that the truck is eligible.

Use the product guide in Azora X and the transaction quote for the applicable amount and term. Keep the proposed balloon beside the asset’s expected use and the client’s plan to pay it. The equipment-finance guide explains supplier checks and useful-life assessment in more detail.

Financial and Application Evidence

Prepare records that support the borrower and transaction, then upload the evidence requested for the selected Azora pathway. Azora describes its commercial process as low-doc as at October 2026. Low-doc describes the assessment pathway, while identity and transaction details still need to be correct.

The following is a broker preparation list. It distinguishes information ready for the application from evidence that depends on the assessment.

RecordWhat It EstablishesWhen to Prepare It
Identification and authorityWho is applying or guaranteeing and who can signBefore submitting borrower details
Entity records and trust documentsBorrower identity, ownership and trustee capacityWhen establishing the proposed borrower
Business financial informationIncome, expenses and capacity to meet repaymentsGather the available records and follow the selected product’s evidence requirements
Bank or existing loan statementsAccount conduct, current debts or repayment historyWhen requested for the pathway or to explain a disclosed issue
Supplier quote or invoiceAsset description, seller and purchase priceBefore finalising the transaction details
Valuation or inspectionCondition and value of a used or specialised assetIf required by credit assessment
Payout and security recordsHow existing finance will be dischargedWhere the asset already secures a debt
Insurance and signed documentsSettlement requirements for the approved transactionWhen fulfilling the conditions of approval

A quote is the proposed transaction. Credit approval can contain conditions that must be completed before settlement. Keep those conditions in a separate list with an owner for each outstanding item.

If the invoice changes after approval, compare the seller, asset identifiers and price with the approved transaction. Send material changes to Azora before treating the file as ready to settle.

Broker Platform and Accreditation

Azora X is the current broker platform for commercial and consumer lending, as at October 2026. Start from the official broker page and its Login to Azora X link. The official login route redirects to brokerportal.azora.com.au.

Azora’s 14 October 2025 platform announcement explains the move to one login. Commercial or consumer access depends on the broker’s accreditation. An existing login therefore does not establish access to both product categories.

Follow this order for a commercial application:

  1. Apply through Azora’s broker accreditation enquiry if you need commercial access.
  2. Sign in through the official Azora X link and open the commercial product tools available under your accreditation.
  3. Use the current product guide and quote tools for the proposed borrower and asset.
  4. Enter the application details and upload the requested documents through the platform.
  5. Track the submitted deal and respond to credit or settlement requests against its reference number.

Azora’s public information identifies quoting, submission, document uploads and deal tracking. It also identifies Broker Support and live chat within Azora X. Use Broker Support for account access or a missing commercial category, and the credit team for an application-specific eligibility question.

The broker page lists Broker Support on 02 9293 6160. For an accreditation enquiry, the contact page lists 1300 184 000. Give support your broker identity and the affected product category when describing an access problem.

Policy Questions and Escalation

Send Azora a complete transaction question so its team can answer the condition that affects the file. As at October 2026, Azora’s broker page identifies dedicated Broker Support, business development managers and direct access to credit.

For a product-fit or exception question, provide the following details:

  • Proposed borrower, entity structure and any guarantors.
  • Registration and trading dates, including predecessor-business history.
  • Asset description, age and intended business use.
  • Supplier type, price, requested finance and deposit.
  • Term, balloon and existing finance to be paid out.
  • Credit or repayment-conduct issues and the explanation for them.

Ask a precise question tied to those facts. For example, ask whether a recently incorporated company can use its predecessor sole-trader history for the nominated commercial product. Retain the reply with the application and identify any additional evidence it requires.

Azora owns the rate quote, credit decision and settlement conditions for the transaction. Give the client’s accountant the proposed structure and business use for a tax question. Refer contract ownership, guarantees and legal obligations to the client’s lawyer.

Before settlement, match the final invoice and asset identifiers to the approval. Close every approval condition and resolve any change to the borrower, seller or transaction amount with Azora’s settlement team.
