AMP Broker Portal: Accreditation and File Support

When an AMP mortgage file stalls, the broker portal may not be the final owner. The correct contact depends on who currently owns the issue.

Updated

The AMP broker portal is AMP Bank’s Broker Hub at distributor.amp.com.au, where accredited mortgage brokers find accreditation steps, credit policy, processing times and support contacts. You lodge and track applications in the AMP Bank Broker Platform, a version of Simpology’s Loanapp that opens from your aggregator’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.

The right contact for a stalled AMP file depends on its stage. Your business development manager (BDM) handles access and policy questions, and the AMP credit assessor works through information requests in Loanapp. After unconditional approval, MSA National, AMP’s panel solicitor, owns documents and settlement through its LoanTrak portal.

AMP Mortgage Broker Portal

AMP Bank’s mortgage broker entry point is the Broker Hub at distributor.amp.com.au. As at October 2026, it holds the accreditation steps, the credit policy guide, processing times, the BDM directory and the training hub for the AMP Bank Broker Platform. Its pages name AMP Bank Limited, Australian credit licence 234517, as the credit provider.

For AMP Bank Broker Platform applications, launch Loanapp by selecting AMP Bank for lodgement in your aggregator CRM. Simpology’s AMP Bank submission overview, dated 5 September 2025, says this creates a Loanapp record filled with your CRM data.

For the Application Dashboard and information requests, sign in directly at secure.simpology.com.au with your email address as the login. AMP’s platform guidance lists that address for brokers and support staff. For other lenders’ broker sign-ins, use the broker portal directory.

Personal Banking, Investment and Adviser Logins

AMP’s banking and investment sign-ins serve different tasks from mortgage application lodgement. As at October 2026, the Login menu on amp.com.au lists My AMP, AMP Bank GO, AMP Super, North online, a Planner portal and a wholesale investor portal.

Check the Destination Before You Sign In

Confirm the address before you enter credentials or borrower details. Use these checks each time you open the AMP Bank broker portal from a bookmark or an emailed link.

  1. Check the domain. Broker information lives on distributor.amp.com.au, and broker sign-in for Loanapp lives on secure.simpology.com.au.
  2. Check the issuer details. Broker Hub product pages name AMP Bank Limited, Australian Business Number (ABN) 15 081 596 009, Australian credit licence 234517, in their Important information section.
  3. Ignore the Get accredited link on the Broker Hub’s Services page. It goes to amp.com.au/adviser, which shows a notice that AMP Advice has a new name. Use the Accreditation page under Home loans instead.

Accreditation and Account Recovery

To confirm your AMP accreditation, check that AMP’s Broker Experience team has issued you a Broker ID. Then check that your aggregator has connected you to Loanapp. Work through access faults by checking accreditation first, then activation, permission and finally your password.

A password reset can’t fix a missing accreditation or a broken aggregator connection. Starting at the top saves you a reset that doesn’t help.

How AMP Accreditation Works

As at October 2026, AMP’s accreditation page sets out three steps. AMP states that it processes applications within 10 business days.

  1. Submit AMP’s online accreditation form from the Accreditation page. The form asks for your Australian credit licence (ACL) name, your relationship to the licence and your aggregator group. If you’re an authorised credit representative, it also asks for your licensee and credit representative number.
  2. Complete the online application the Broker Experience team emails you. It includes a short five-minute video and a DocuSign document to sign.
  3. Receive your credentials, including your Broker ID. AMP’s accreditation page still mentions ApplyOnline access here, while AMP’s platform FAQ says lodgement runs through Loanapp from your CRM.

The form also asks whether an assistant will liaise with AMP on your deals. Add their details at this stage if they’ll handle your files. If a deal can’t wait for accreditation, AMP’s page points you to your local BDM or the Originator Hotline on 1300 300 400.

Fix Access in This Order

Each step below assumes the one before it is working. AMP’s platform FAQ, as at October 2026, is the source for the activation, permission and password steps.

  1. Accreditation. If you’ve never received a Broker ID, submit the accreditation form. If you’ve accredited before and the account no longer works, ask your BDM to check your details against AMP’s records.
  2. Activation. AMP requires you to be accredited and connected to Loanapp through your aggregator. If AMP Bank or Loanapp doesn’t appear when you launch from your CRM, or you see an error, send your BDM the details in the list below.
  3. Permission. Each support staff member needs their own access, which your BDM arranges. They set a password at secure.simpology.com.au and must log on once before you can add them as a participant on each application.
  4. Password. If your Broker ID and connection work but sign-in fails, use Set or recover password on the secure.simpology.com.au sign-in. If you’re locked out, email support@simpology.com.au, which reaches Simpology’s chat inbox.

For a CRM launch error, AMP’s FAQ asks you to send your BDM these details. The BDM checks them against AMP’s platform records, updates any mismatch and escalates to Simpology if the fault continues.

  • Full name and broker code.
  • Brokerage and aggregator names.
  • Your brokerage’s ABN.
  • Mobile number and email address.
  • Whether any applications are active.

Find your BDM on the Broker Hub’s Contact us page, which lists AMP BDMs by state and by aggregator. Your access is working when AMP Bank opens from your CRM into Loanapp’s Setup page with your name, brokerage and aggregator already filled in.

Application and Bank Support

Route an AMP file question by its type before you call anyone. Missing documents go through the information request, and processing updates start on the Application Dashboard. Technical faults go to Simpology, and policy scenarios go to your BDM.

Missing Files and Information Requests

An AMP credit assessor asks for missing items through an information request. The file waits until you answer every item in it.

AMP’s platform FAQ, as at October 2026, says credit isn’t alerted to activity on the file until all outstanding documents are provided. The assessor calls you first, then sends the request with their direct name and number.

  1. Open the request from the email link, or sign in at secure.simpology.com.au and go to Solutions, then Applications processing, then My information requests.
  2. Don’t choose the info requests option inside the application itself. That option sends a request to your customer.
  3. Upload each document into the request, add any comment the assessor needs and submit it.
  4. If a participant such as your support staff member should answer it, use Nominate to send it to them.

Send extra documents that nobody asked for to the file’s credit analyst. If you don’t know who that is, send them to your BDM.

If an offset account drops off after submission, tell your BDM or AMP’s application support inbox at AppSupport@ampbanking.com.au. To convert a pre-approval to formal approval, answer the information request that came with the pre-approval with the contract of sale and valuation, because AMP has no edit-and-resubmit option.

Processing Updates

Check the Application Dashboard first. Simpology’s dashboard guide, dated 7 April 2026, shows a status for each file, such as Assessment, Decision or Solicitors. Within each status, the lender sets a sub-status such as Conditional Approval or Formal Approval.

As at October 2026, AMP’s processing-times page gives these indicative times to reach credit assessment. AMP says they’re estimates that change with complexity and requests for more information.

Application typeIndicative time to credit assessmentCondition
Pay as you go (PAYG) and self-employed2 business daysNo further information needed
SuperEdge self-managed super fund (SMSF)4 business daysNo further information needed
Pipeline application2 business daysOnce outstanding requirements arrive
Company and trust10 business daysNo further information needed

If a file is past those times, call AMP broker support through the Broker Experience team on 1300 300 400. Choose option 1, Mortgages, for a new loan or increase, a processing time or information Loanapp doesn’t show.

The line runs 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). For a deal with a fixed deadline, talk to your BDM before you submit.

Technical Faults

Use the chat tool inside Loanapp to reach Simpology’s technical support team for Loanapp faults. If chat isn’t available, email support@simpology.com.au. AMP’s FAQ says those emails reach the same chat inbox and get the same turnaround.

Policy Scenarios

Check AMP’s credit policy guide on the Broker Hub’s Policies page, then take the scenario to your AMP BDM. As at October 2026, AMP describes the guide as a summary that isn’t complete and is regularly updated, and it refers further questions to your BDM. Loanapp also runs AMP’s credit rules before submission and alerts you when a deal doesn’t meet policy.

For a summary of AMP’s lending rules, see the AMP lender policy guide. When you’re weighing other lenders for the same client, Bulma’s Policy Advisor checks the question against 52+ lenders’ policies. It quotes the policy wording behind each answer, so you can keep that wording in your file notes.

Settlement-Provider Handoff

After AMP issues unconditional approval, MSA National owns the loan documents and settlement, and you track the file in MSA’s LoanTrak portal. AMP announced MSA National as its panel solicitor on 13 June 2024. As at October 2026, AMP’s platform FAQ names MSA as panel solicitor for all applications submitted through Loanapp.

AMP keeps accreditation, Loanapp access and credit decisions. According to its FAQ, rate and product errors found after formal approval also stay with AMP.

For a wrong rate, AMP can apply the correct rate after settlement or reapprove a resubmitted application and reissue documents. If the product is wrong or the client changes strategy, you resubmit. If AMP made the error, your BDM can arrange a clone of the application.

Confirm the Destination Before You Send Borrower Details

Settlement emails are a target for fraud, so confirm who you’re dealing with first. As at October 2026, MSA’s scam guidance and LoanTrak page support these checks.

  1. Open LoanTrak by typing loantrak.com.au, the address AMP’s processing-times page and MSA’s LoanTrak page both give. Your username is your email address, and MSA emails your login when it receives your first loan approval.
  2. Check that emails come from msanational.com.au. MSA lists lookalike domains such as msanational.com and msanational.net.au as fraudulent.
  3. Call MSA on 1300 672 007, the number AMP and MSA both publish, instead of a number quoted in an email.
  4. Match any MSA or lender reference against the one in MSA’s first DocuSign email for that loan.

Older FMS Instructions

AMP’s processing-times page still links its settlement check to docuPREP at docuprep.firstms.com. That address sits on the First Mortgage Services (FMS) domain, and AMP’s 2016 docuPREP guide describes docuPREP as the FMS system for AMP loan documents. For files lodged through Loanapp, AMP’s current material names MSA National and LoanTrak, so use the FMS broker portal only when AMP’s instructions for that file name FMS.

LoanTrak Sign-In Problems

MSA’s March 2022 LoanTrak user guide covers the reset steps. Select Reset Password and enter your email address to receive a security code, valid for 30 minutes. Lender, mortgage manager and aggregator staff get the code by email, and other users get it by SMS.

If you can’t reach the email on your account or have another login fault, the guide directs you to loantraksupport@msanational.com.au. The MSA LoanTrak guide covers detailed troubleshooting.

Settlement is complete when you receive MSA’s SMS and email alert. Your borrower then gets an MSA email with a video and disbursement letter, and a separate AMP email with their loan account numbers and repayment details.
