ANZ Broker Portal: Access and File Support

Locked out or unable to see an ANZ application? Use the ANZ broker portal login, accreditation, scenario and BDM support routes for the right fix.

Updated

The ANZ Broker Portal is ANZ’s sign-in for accredited mortgage brokers, and you reach it from ANZ’s residential broker page. Inside it, you track ANZ home loan applications, contact your ANZ Residential Broker Manager and use ANZ’s broker resources.

ANZ currently runs two broker logins, so a failed sign-in can simply mean you’re on the other one. Work out which portal you need, then whether the fault is your password, your profile activation, your accreditation or your access level. Each one has a different fix and a different owner at ANZ.

Official ANZ Broker Portal

The official entry point is ANZ’s residential broker page at anz.com.au/promo/broker, which ANZ titles its Residential broker hub. As at October 2026, that page links to two logins: the redesigned ANZ Broker Portal at broker.anz.com and the existing ANZ Residential Broker Portal at anz-originator.com.au.

The redesigned portal opens on a page headed “Welcome to the ANZ Broker Portal”, with a Continue button that takes you to ANZ’s sign-in at myid.anz.com. ANZ’s broker page says the new portal lets you track application updates as they happen and find answers with smart search and Broker Chat. It also lets you give eligible support staff access using their own credentials.

The existing residential portal still works, and ANZ’s sign-in page for it is headed “ANZ Broker Distribution”. It runs on ANZ’s Approved Originator website, which is why its address is anz-originator.com.au. ANZ’s Brokerology training libraries (Basics, Business and Balance) also open from this login, so look there for ANZ’s broker toolkit material.

Which ANZ Login to Use

Choose the login by the job, then bookmark that address and open it from ANZ’s broker page or your bookmark each time. The table reflects ANZ’s residential and commercial broker pages as at October 2026.

ANZ’s personal internet banking login and the ANZ App aren’t broker logins. Your client uses those to manage their loan after settlement, such as changing repayments or resetting an ANZ App PIN.

ANZ’s Quick Start home loan application is its online form for borrowers applying directly, and ANZ calls them back within 24 to 48 hours. For a file you lodge, your client gets application updates from you.

Commercial Brokers and the New Portal

ANZ’s commercial broker channel shares the redesigned ANZ Broker Portal but needs its own accreditation. ANZ’s commercial broker page, as at October 2026, says the portal gives commercial brokers lending product guides, application process guides, eligibility criteria and their Broker Manager’s contact details.

ANZ GoBiz is ANZ’s online platform for referring business clients for unsecured business loans and overdrafts. ANZ says you need commercial accreditation to use it, and you must speak with the client’s ANZ Business Banker before referring. That conversation confirms eligibility and makes sure you receive a commission.

If you hold only residential accreditation, get commercial accreditation before you rely on ANZ’s commercial tools. Asset finance is a separate team again, covered in the support section below. For ANZ’s business loan products, see the guide to ANZ business loans.

Suncorp Bank Brokers

Suncorp Bank is becoming ANZ, and ANZ’s broker pages direct ANZ-accredited brokers to the ANZ Broker Portal for details of the change. ANZ’s customer page on the move, as at October 2026, says Suncorp Bank accounts move to ANZ in 2027.

Until then, Suncorp Bank files keep their own broker channel. Use the Suncorp broker portal guide for those applications, and ANZ’s portal for ANZ applications.

Portal Login and Profile Activation

Fix an ANZ portal login by checking the portal address first, then the password, the profile and the accreditation. A password reset fixes only a password fault, so identify the symptom before you reset anything.

The following symptom table applies to the existing ANZ Broker Distribution portal at anz-originator.com.au, as at October 2026.

Redesigned Portal Login Help

For broker.anz.com, open the redesigned portal from ANZ’s residential broker page and continue to ANZ’s sign-in. If you still can’t sign in, give your Residential Broker Manager the portal address and exact error message.

Work Through the Checks in Order

Steps 2 to 7 apply to the existing ANZ Broker Distribution portal. ANZ’s existing login page and Approved Originator website terms of use, both as at October 2026, support these checks.

  1. Check the portal. Confirm you’re on broker.anz.com or the ANZ Broker Distribution page at anz-originator.com.au. A login that works on one won’t necessarily work on the other.
  2. Check the login ID. On the existing portal, ANZ asks for your username or the code its login page labels “AO-SAO” as the Login ID. Use the identifier ANZ issued you, not your aggregator or lodgement platform login.
  3. Change an expired password. Enter your login ID and current password, and the login page prompts you to set a new one.
  4. Reset a forgotten or lapsed password. Select Reset Password and follow the prompts. ANZ’s login page says to do this if you’ve forgotten your password or haven’t logged on in the last three months.
  5. Finish activation. ANZ sets up a user ID and temporary password after you’re approved or accredited. At your first logon, you must choose a new password before you can see any information.
  6. Ask for login ID help. If your ID still isn’t recognised, email mortorig@anz.com, the address ANZ’s login page gives for login ID assistance.
  7. Report a compromised login. If you think someone else knows your user ID or password, call ANZ straight away on 1800 812 785, or 1300 367 389 in Western Australia. ANZ’s terms of use require you to notify it immediately.

After recovery, sign in to the intended portal with your own credentials. Confirm that you can see your broker resources and the intended application. If login succeeds but the application remains absent, continue to Missing Applications and File Access for the portal you used.

When you email for help with ANZ Broker Distribution, include your full name, your username or login ID, your originator company and your aggregator. Add which portal you tried, the exact error message and the date of your last successful login. ANZ’s terms let it ask for written authorisation from your originator company and for identification, so have both ready.

To update your contact details for ANZ Broker Distribution, email origserv@anz.com or call the same 1800 or 1300 numbers. Keep your email address current, because ANZ’s terms say it sends notices about service interruptions, faults and changes to the website terms to your last known email.

Accreditation and Profile Activation

ANZ accreditation runs through your aggregator, not straight to the bank. ANZ’s become-accredited page, as at October 2026, says you must belong to an aggregator group, and your aggregator contacts ANZ to apply on your behalf. If the application succeeds, an ANZ Residential Broker Manager contacts you.

For the existing ANZ Broker Distribution portal, your originator company nominates you for access under ANZ’s Approved Originator terms, either on a written application form or through ANZ’s accreditation program. ANZ can suspend access if your company asks it to or if you or your company stop being accredited with ANZ. A lapsed profile after an aggregator move or a change of employer is an accreditation question, so start with your aggregator.

If you’re still choosing a group, the guide to choosing an aggregator as a new broker compares the options.

Commercial accreditation is a separate application. As at October 2026, ANZ’s commercial accreditation flyer lists these items:

  • a completed ANZ Commercial Broker Accreditation Application form
  • your Australian credit licence or credit representative details
  • a current professional membership certificate, such as from the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia or the Finance Brokers Association of Australia
  • confirmation of current Australian Financial Complaints Authority membership
  • a police check dated within 90 days of the date ANZ receives the application
  • current photo ID

Support Staff Credentials

Support staff need their own credentials, never yours. For the existing ANZ Broker Distribution portal, ANZ’s Approved Originator terms say your user ID and password are personal and can’t be shared or transferred. The redesigned portal gives eligible support staff secure access with their own login instead.

Missing Applications and File Access

When an ANZ application isn’t visible, identify which portal you’re searching before choosing the next check. ANZ’s residential broker page and Approved Originator terms, as at October 2026, describe different tools for the redesigned and existing portals.

Missing Files in the Redesigned Portal

At broker.anz.com, use application tracking to look for the file and its updates. If it remains absent, use Broker Chat for help or contact your Residential Broker Manager with the application details listed below.

Missing Files in ANZ Broker Distribution

In the existing portal at anz-originator.com.au, check your access level first, then the search type and the file’s age. Its Approved Originator terms explain these causes and state that this website won’t necessarily show complete or accurate information on every submitted application.

Why a File Doesn’t Appear

In ANZ Broker Distribution, your originator company sets what you can see by nominating one of three access levels. Individual Broker access shows the applications you submitted to ANZ. State Summary covers a group of brokers in the states you manage, and National Summary covers everything your company submitted across Australia.

If your company hasn’t told ANZ which level you hold, ANZ gives you Individual Broker access. That means a principal or office manager won’t see colleagues’ files until the company nominates them for a summary level.

The file’s age matters in ANZ Broker Distribution too. ANZ shows a drawn-down application for a maximum of 12 months after the initial drawdown of the last loan product in that application. An application that never drew down stays visible only as long as ANZ keeps it in its Mortgage Originator System.

In ANZ Broker Distribution, the search type changes what comes back:

  • A search for today’s information, or a customer-based search, generally returns information entered into ANZ’s system on the same day.
  • Every other search generally returns historical information and leaves out anything entered that day.

ANZ also says Broker Distribution data isn’t always reported in real time during system failures. A file entered this morning might show in a customer search but not in a historical search until the next day.

Here’s a hypothetical ANZ Broker Distribution case. A broker can’t find a loan that settled and fully drew down 14 months ago. The file has passed this existing portal’s 12-month display window, so a search won’t return it, and the broker needs ANZ to look it up directly.

Details ANZ Needs to Investigate

Give ANZ enough to identify you and the application without sending the client’s whole file. Collect these before you contact Broker Chat or your Residential Broker Manager:

  • your full name and your username or login ID
  • your originator company and aggregator
  • the portal you searched and, for ANZ Broker Distribution, your nominated access level if you know it
  • the applicants’ surnames and initials as lodged
  • the lodgement reference and submission date from the system you lodged through
  • the last status or milestone you saw, with its date
  • whether the loan has drawn down and, if so, the drawdown date
  • the date and time you searched, plus the search type used in ANZ Broker Distribution

Evidence to Keep Without Exposing Borrower Data

Screenshots help ANZ see what you see, but borrower details don’t belong in an email thread. Crop each screenshot to the search screen and its result or error. Show your signed-in identity, and mask dates of birth, account numbers, addresses and income figures.

Keep the lodgement confirmation in your own records and quote its reference instead of attaching application documents. If ANZ needs documents, send them through the channel ANZ gives you for that file. Your aggregator’s privacy policy and your own data handling rules still apply to anything you share.

If ANZ Broker Distribution shows another broker’s application that your access level shouldn’t show, report it on 1800 812 785, or 1300 367 389 in Western Australia. ANZ’s terms require you to tell it immediately.

Scenario and BDM Assistance

Send each ANZ question to the team that owns it. Use the access contact for your portal and Broker Chat for a live file. Take policy and relationship questions to your Residential Broker Manager.

ANZ calls its residential business development managers (BDMs) Residential Broker Managers (RBMs). As at October 2026, ANZ’s broker page says their contact details are inside the ANZ Broker Portal.

ANZ’s broker page also names its residential broker state managers. They’re Tim Brookhouse for Queensland and the Northern Territory, and Anthony Calandrella for Victoria and Tasmania. Shehan De Silva covers Western Australia and South Australia, and Jonathon Angelucci covers New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

ANZ Home Loan Service Levels

ANZ publishes its residential broker service levels on its broker page, and they run from a fully completed application with all supporting documents. ANZ sorts files by complexity, including whether they need lenders mortgage insurance (LMI). As at October 2026, ANZ lists these assessment times in business days:

StageSimple: Non-LMISimple: LMISingle Entity Self-Employed or Foreign IncomeComplexHome Loans in a Company Name
New application2 days4 days5 days4 days4 days
Additional documents2 days2 days2 days2 days2 days

Simple Non-LMI files have standard security, pay as you go (PAYG), sole trader or partnership income or a guarantor, and total mortgage lending under $2.25 million. Simple LMI files have standard security, PAYG, sole trader or partnership income and total mortgage lending under $1.5 million. ANZ says Home Guarantee Scheme applications generally fall within the Simple Non-LMI times unless the file is more complex, such as one with self-employed income.

Single Entity Self-Employed covers income from a single trust or company, and foreign income. Complex covers everything else, including income from multiple entities, non-standard securities, owner builders, construction over $2 million and bridging home loans. After approval, ANZ lists 1 day for document preparation and 1 day for document verification, with settlement as booked.

ANZ describes these times as forward looking and estimated from anticipated demand, so record the figure and the date you checked it. In a hypothetical case, a complete PAYG application for $900,000 at standard security, without LMI, lands in the Simple Non-LMI column. ANZ’s estimate is then 2 business days for assessment, while a single-trust self-employed file sits at 5.

Policy Scenarios Before You Lodge

Check ANZ’s written policy before you take a scenario to your Residential Broker Manager, so the conversation starts from the rule. The ANZ lender policy guide sets out ANZ’s dated lending policy once your access works.

If the scenario might suit another lender better, Bulma’s Scenario Planner checks it against 52+ lenders’ policies. It lists each lender’s conditions and the documents to gather, with the policy wording quoted behind each answer.

Which ANZ Contact Fits the Problem

Send each question with the details its owner needs. Send an ANZ Broker Distribution login ID fault to mortorig@anz.com with your ID and the error text, and a live-file question to Broker Chat with the lodgement reference.

Take a policy or pricing conversation to your Residential Broker Manager with the scenario written out. For a commercial or dual application, start with your ANZ Commercial BDM.

If a file has passed ANZ’s published service level for its column, escalate to your Residential Broker Manager. Give the submission date, the column the file falls in and the date you checked the figure. Other lenders’ sign-in routes are listed in the broker portal directory.

Check the policy behind your next scenario

Ask Bulma a lender policy question and inspect the source behind the answer.
