Suncorp Broker Portal: Access and Settlement Support

When a Suncorp file stalls, first identify who owns the next step. Suncorp broker portal routes separate access, accreditation, settlement and BDM support.

Published
Updated

The Suncorp broker portal is Suncorp Bank’s broker site at brokerportal.suncorpbank.com.au, where accredited brokers sign in and find broker support on 1300 313 798. Suncorp Bank runs a home loan from assessment through loan documents to settlement booking. A stalled file goes back to Suncorp unless a written instruction for that file names someone else.

This setup changes by June 2027. On 7 September 2026, Suncorp Bank told brokers and aggregators they’ll move to the banking products and digital platforms of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).

Current Suncorp Broker Portal

The current Suncorp broker entry point is brokerportal.suncorpbank.com.au, and you lodge residential applications in ApplyOnline. As at October 2026, Suncorp’s home loan service levels count decision times from when all documents are received in ApplyOnline. ApplyOnline is the lodgement platform run by NextGen.

The lender behind the portal is Suncorp Bank, the trading name of Norfina Limited (Australian credit licence 229882). ANZ acquired Norfina Limited on 31 July 2024. Suncorp Bank’s website footer says it uses the Suncorp brand under licence and isn’t part of the Suncorp Group.

The broker portal covers Suncorp Bank’s home and small business lending. Suncorp insurance claims and policies belong to the Suncorp Group, which is a separate company.

The Move to ANZ

Suncorp Bank’s 7 September 2026 announcement says customers, brokers and aggregators will move to ANZ’s banking products, services and digital platforms by June 2027. Its Move Hub at suncorpbank.com.au/movetoanz shows early 2027 as the time to get ready and 2027 for the move itself.

As at October 2026, ANZ’s broker page sends ANZ-accredited brokers to the ANZ Broker Portal for news about the change. If you’re not yet accredited with ANZ, the page links its accreditation steps, which the ANZ portal access guide also explains. For other lenders, use the broker portal directory.

Check Older Instructions

Old file notes, aggregator guides and Suncorp’s own forms can point to destinations that have changed. Check each instruction against this table before you rely on it.

Suncorp’s accreditation form, in its version dated 1 August 2024, still refers brokers to businesspartners.suncorpbank.com.au. That address no longer loads, so use brokerportal.suncorpbank.com.au instead.

Inside the portal, the Contact Us, Notifications and Service Level pages all need a sign-in. The service levels on suncorpbank.com.au stay public.

Accreditation and Login Recovery

Confirm your Suncorp accreditation with the accreditation team at bc.accreditation@suncorpbank.com.au. For a password problem, use the reset on the Suncorp broker login page first. For activation or permission problems, or a reset that fails, call broker support on 1300 313 798.

Suncorp sets its decision times by accreditation tier, Accredited or Gold. If you haven’t lodged with Suncorp for a while, ask the accreditation team or broker support whether your accreditation is still active before you rebuild a client file.

Get or Transfer Suncorp Accreditation

To get accredited, you need an Australian credit licence or a credit representative appointment. Suncorp’s accreditation form is dated 1 August 2024. For Retail and Small Business accreditation, it also requires accreditation with the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) or the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).

  1. Choose the accreditation type. Retail and Small Business covers retail loans of any amount and small business loans up to $3 million, excluding specialised industries. Commercial and Agribusiness covers loans over $1 million or specialised credit.
  2. Complete and sign the Suncorp Bank Broker Accreditation Application. Mark it as a new accreditation or a transfer, and add any previous Suncorp accreditation code.
  3. Give the form to your aggregator or broker group. Its representative confirms your identity and a satisfactory police check, then signs the form.
  4. Attach the checklist documents. You need a current Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) registration certificate and a current MFAA, FBAA or Commercial and Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia (CAFBA) certificate. For a transfer, add the severance letter or email from your previous aggregator.
  5. Email everything to bc.accreditation@suncorpbank.com.au. The form says you should receive confirmation within five business days.

The form also asks you to review Suncorp’s products, pricing and processes on the broker portal. If you’re new to the industry, the guide to choosing an aggregator as a new broker explains the step before the form.

Restore Suncorp Broker Login Access

Recover access from the broker sign-in page, then call broker support if self-service doesn’t work. As at October 2026, the sign-in page’s error message gives BrokerSupport@suncorpbank.com.au and 1300 313 798 for problems that continue.

  1. Open the broker sign-in. Go to brokerportal.suncorpbank.com.au and select Login. Suncorp Bank Internet Banking is a separate customer service, so a customer login won’t open the broker portal.
  2. Reset your password. Use the reset password link on the sign-in page. If your account is locked, the sign-in page sends you to the same reset.
  3. Call broker support if the reset fails. Phone 1300 313 798 or email BrokerSupport@suncorpbank.com.au.
  4. Raise activation and permission problems with broker support. These include a new accreditation with no login yet and a login that works but doesn’t show the functions you expect. Have your name, aggregator and Suncorp accreditation code ready.
  5. Check that access is back. Sign in and open Notifications, which needs a sign-in. If it opens, your access is restored.

Application Versus Settlement Support

Suncorp Bank owns both the application work and the settlement stage of its home loans, so both go to Suncorp. Track and update the application in ApplyOnline, and take document and settlement questions to Suncorp broker support.

Suncorp’s home loan application guide lists four stages after lodgement, starting with review and decision and ending with loan documentation and settlement.

If a Suncorp instruction for a particular file sends you to a settlement provider’s workspace, follow that instruction. The settlement provider portal guide covers that kind of access.

Trace a Suncorp File to Settlement

Each handoff has one owner. The times are Suncorp’s published service levels, as at October 2026.

Suncorp adds time when a file needs rework. That happens when the application’s conditions change or the know your customer (KYC) or verification of identity (VOI) documents are wrong.

After settlement, Suncorp sends the client’s home loan account number by SMS and in the settlement letter. For later questions about that loan, the client calls 13 11 75.

Suncorp Home Loan Approval Times

Suncorp’s published credit decision times run from within 2 business days to 20 business days, depending on the income type, loan type and your tier. As at October 2026, the home loan service levels page shows these times with no publication date.

Basic self-employed refinance, construction, add or equity loan15 days14 days
Comprehensive self-employed, all loan types20 days20 days

Days are business days from when all documents are received in ApplyOnline. SunLight is Suncorp’s fast decision pathway for applications that meet criteria published inside the broker portal.

Basic self-employed applications are validated with Notices of Assessment, and comprehensive ones with full financials. Suncorp assesses every company or trust borrower as comprehensive self-employed, whatever the income.

Here’s a hypothetical example. An Accredited broker has every document for a PAYG purchase in ApplyOnline on Wednesday 11 November 2026. The published service level indicates Wednesday 25 November 2026.

A late payslip moves the start. When it only arrives on Friday 13 November, the 10 business days count from that Friday and indicate 27 November under the published service level. On a refinance lodged complete on 11 November, the 15-day time applies instead, with Wednesday 2 December 2026 indicated by the published service level.

Suncorp Home Loan Application and Contact

Lodge broker-originated Suncorp home loan applications in ApplyOnline. Use the forms and document instructions for that application, and contact broker support on 1300 313 798 if you need the correct form. Borrowers who aren’t using a broker can apply to Suncorp online or in person.

As at October 2026, the Suncorp home loan contact number for customers is 13 11 75. New home loan enquiries run Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). For an existing loan, call on a weekday between 8am and 6pm AEST.

Suncorp’s online home loan enquiry form says Suncorp will reply within two business days. For a broker question, use broker support on 1300 313 798.

Scenario and BDM Assistance

Take a Suncorp policy interpretation, a borderline scenario or a relationship problem to your Suncorp business development manager (BDM). Keep technical and processing problems with broker support on 1300 313 798.

As at October 2026, Suncorp’s public broker page says its BDM team supports brokers but publishes no BDM names. The portal’s Contact Us page needs a sign-in, so ask broker support or your aggregator to identify your BDM.

Before You Call Your BDM

Check Suncorp’s written policy before you ask for a judgement call. The Suncorp lender policy guide covers Suncorp Bank’s current lending rules.

If the BDM confirms the scenario falls outside Suncorp’s policy, compare other lenders before you rework the file. Bulma’s Scenario Planner checks the same scenario against 52+ lenders, groups them by policy fit and quotes the policy wording behind each result.

When a Suncorp file stalls, find its stage in the trace table and send the question to that stage’s owner. Escalate with the date all documents reached ApplyOnline and the published time the file has passed.

Check the policy behind your next scenario

Ask Bulma a lender policy question and inspect the source behind the answer.
