Westpac Broker Portal: Login and Application Help
Locked out of the Westpac broker portal or missing an application? Find the official login, access recovery and the right file or BDM support.

The Westpac broker portal is BrokerHub, the sign-in at brokerhub.westpac.com.au where accredited brokers lodge deals, track applications and request pricing. When you’re locked out, use the Reset Password button on the sign-in page or call the Broker Hotline on 1300 130 928 and choose the BrokerHub or passwords option.
Westpac publishes how quickly it first picks up a file, and it advertises 2-day conditional approval for error-free files that need no extra assessment. It doesn’t publish a formal approval time. Use its lead times to judge when a file is overdue, then escalate through the right team.
This guide covers Westpac’s public broker pages, the BrokerHub sign-in page and the contact routes Westpac publishes. Screens inside BrokerHub aren’t described.
Official Westpac Broker Portal and WBC Access
Start at Westpac’s public broker website, westpac.com.au/brokers, and select Login to BrokerHub. As at October 2026, that link opens brokerhub.westpac.com.au, which hands you to the BrokerHub sign-in page.
WBC is short for Westpac Banking Corporation, the bank’s legal name. A WBC broker portal or WBC broker login means the same Westpac BrokerHub service. Westpac also uses the WBC prefix on its broker form files.
Your broker credentials are separate from Westpac’s customer Online Banking at banking.westpac.com.au. A personal or business Online Banking login doesn’t open BrokerHub. Your BrokerHub access follows your Westpac accreditation, so recover it through broker support, not a branch or the customer help line.
Westpac BrokerHub, Brokerbase and WBC Names
Each name has one current meaning at Westpac. The table shows where each one goes and what you use it for.
| Name | Where it goes | What you use it for |
|---|---|---|
| BrokerHub | brokerhub.westpac.com.au, then the BrokerHub sign-in page | Lodging deals, tracking applications and raising escalations or pricing requests. You also find your state’s business development manager (BDM) here. |
| Brokerbase | westpac.com.au/brokers, the public broker website | Products, rates, forms, policy, service lead times, accreditation and contacts, with no sign-in needed |
| WBC | Westpac Banking Corporation | The bank’s legal name, used in searches and on Westpac’s broker form files |
As at October 2026, Brokerbase is the label Westpac’s broker site map gives its public broker home page. BrokerHub and Brokerbase (also written BrokerBase) are different destinations. Brokerbase is the public site, and you sign in through BrokerHub.
The BrokerHub sign-in page also carries St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA links, because those Westpac Group brands use the same sign-in. Brokers working with those brands can follow the St.George broker portal guide, the Bank of Melbourne broker portal guide or the BankSA broker portal guide. For other lenders, use the broker portal directory.
Login Recovery and Accreditation
To recover Westpac broker portal access, reset your password from the BrokerHub sign-in page first. If that fails, contact BrokerHub support through the Broker Hotline or the help address on the sign-in page.
As at October 2026, the sign-in page says your account locks after three incorrect passwords. If you’re unsure of your password, stop after the second failed attempt and reset it.
Restore BrokerHub Access
- Check the address. Open brokerhub.westpac.com.au from Westpac’s broker website, not the customer Online Banking page. The page you reach is headed Welcome to BrokerHub.
- Reset your password. Select Reset Password on the sign-in page and follow the self-service steps. Passwords are case sensitive, so check caps lock before you retry.
- Call BrokerHub support if the reset fails or your account is locked. Call the Broker Hotline on 1300 130 928, select option 1, then press 4 for BrokerHub or passwords. The sign-in page also lists brokerhub@westpac.com.au and 1300 137 532 for login help.
- Confirm who you are. Keep your Broker ID number, BrokerHub username and aggregator’s name at hand before you call. Add the client’s name and application reference number if a live file is waiting.
- Escalate a live file. If access isn’t back and a client file is due, contact your state BDM team. Westpac’s broker contact page lists each state’s BDMs, so you can reach them without signing in.
- Check that access is restored. Sign in and open an application you’ve already lodged. If your existing applications show, your access is back.
The Broker Hotline runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and 6.30am to 5pm Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), as at October 2026.
Confirm Accreditation Before You Lodge
Confirm you hold a Westpac Broker ID before you start entering an application, because BrokerHub access depends on accreditation. As at October 2026, Westpac’s get accredited page sets out four steps.
- Tell your aggregator you want Westpac accreditation. The aggregator starts your online application.
- Watch for an email with your login and password for Westpac’s broker online accreditation system.
- Complete the training modules and exam. Westpac then receives a notification and runs a verification check.
- Receive your Broker ID number. Westpac says this usually takes up to five business days after approval.
Westpac accreditation also covers the St.George Banking Group brands, and the St.George broker portal guide covers their access. If you’re new to the industry, the guide to choosing an aggregator as a new broker explains the step before step 1.
If you haven’t lodged with Westpac for a while, check that your accreditation is still active before you rebuild a client file. Ask your aggregator or call the Broker Hotline on 1300 130 928.
Application and Scenario Support
Send each Westpac question to the team that owns its stage. Use BrokerHub for tracking and escalations, the Broker Hotline options for status and settlement, and your BDM for policy direction and the relationship.
As at October 2026, Westpac lists these routes on its broker pages. To reach a hotline number in the table, call 1300 130 928, select option 1, then press that number.
| Question | Where to send it | What to have ready |
|---|---|---|
| Technical access, such as a lockout or password | Reset Password on the sign-in page, then hotline 4 or brokerhub@westpac.com.au | Broker ID, username and aggregator |
| Missing file or application status before approval | Track the application in BrokerHub, then hotline 2 | Client name and application reference number |
| Processing delay past the published lead time | Raise an escalation in BrokerHub | Lodgement date and time, and the lead time it has passed |
| Pre-approval documents | Send to clopreproduction@westpac.com.au, imaged within 24 hours | Client name and application reference number |
| Approved loan awaiting settlement | Hotline 1, with documents to settlementinstructionsWBC@westpac.com.au | Settlement date and the documents requested |
| Construction progress payments | 1300 367 483 or progressdraws@mortgage.westpac.com.au | Loan details, customer contributions and paid receipts |
| Existing Westpac home loan | Hotline 3 | Loan account number and client name |
| Policy or scenario question | Hotline 5, or your BDM for direction on a complex deal | The scenario and the policy point you’re unsure of |
| Relationship question or a repeated delay | Your state BDM | The deals involved and what has gone wrong |
The document inboxes only receive supporting documents. Send questions about those documents to your BDM or the hotline.
Once a loan is conditionally or formally approved, the hotline can confirm its main details. These include the loan amount, structure, rate, security and valuation amount.
Westpac Home Loan Application Form and Documents
Westpac’s broker application form and supporting forms are on its forms page, and you lodge the application itself online. As at October 2026, the broker forms page includes the Business Lending and Residential Loan Application Form and the Approval in Principal to Full Loan Approval Form.
Westpac’s February 2026 minimum required documents checklist lists items every application needs before assessment starts. They include notes in the online lodgement, the signed privacy acknowledgements and consents form, and identity verification. Tax file numbers must be removed from every document.
Work through that checklist before you lodge. A file that misses a mandatory item falls outside the conditions behind Westpac’s published lead times.
Westpac Service Levels and Approval Times
Westpac publishes its broker service-level agreement (SLA) times on its service lead times page, which shows no publication date. As at October 2026, a correctly lodged full application reaches first touch within one business day for Accredited, Gold and Platinum brokers. First touch is when Westpac first picks up the file, not the approval.
The page presents every time below as a processing time for first touch and calls it a guideline at the date of publication. Days are business days, and the times apply to applications in by 5pm AEST, lodged correctly with every mandated document.
| File stage | Accredited | Gold | Platinum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full application | 1 day | 1 day | 1 day |
| Approval in principle (AIP), pay as you go (PAYG) income | 1 day | 1 day | 1 day |
| Approval in principle, self-employed | 2 days | 2 days | 1 day |
| Returned information | 1 day | 1 day | 1 day |
| Credit exceptions | 2 days | 2 days | 1 day |
Escalations on full applications take up to four hours, and credit exception escalations up to six hours. Applications under the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme can take up to one extra business day.
After approval, Westpac lists one business day each for document preparation, First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) processing and certification for settlement, and two for progress payments. Loan maintenance takes five business days and product switching ten.
For pre-approvals, Westpac’s contact page says no assessment SLA applies. The hotline can tell you when the file will be allocated to an assessor.
Here’s a hypothetical example. A complete PAYG standard application lodged at 3pm AEST on a Monday is due for first touch by the end of Tuesday. Lodged at 6pm instead, it counts from Tuesday, which moves first touch to the end of Wednesday.
Westpac’s get accredited page advertises 2-day conditional approval for an error-free application submitted before 5pm AEST that needs no credit or lenders mortgage insurance (LMI) assessment. No published figure covers formal approval or files that need those assessments.
Each round of returned information or a credit exception adds its own lead time, so record when you lodged and when each request came back. Those times are your escalation evidence.
If a BrokerHub escalation passes its window without a response, call your state BDM.
Policy, Scenarios and Your Westpac BDM
Take a written policy question to hotline option 5 or Westpac’s broker policy pages. Take a deal that needs judgement or a relationship decision to your BDM.
As at October 2026, Westpac says accredited brokers can reach a dedicated Credit Team to workshop difficult scenarios. Your BDM is also Westpac’s contact for anything the hotline and inboxes don’t cover. That includes repeated delays and how Westpac views a borderline deal.
Before you call, check how Westpac’s written policy treats the scenario. Bulma’s Policy Advisor answers from the policy documents of 52+ lenders including Westpac. It quotes the wording behind each answer, which you can keep in your file notes.
For Westpac’s lending rules themselves, use the Westpac lender policy guide.
Westpac Commercial Broker Enquiries
Westpac keeps its business finance forms apart from its residential ones. As at October 2026, the Commercial and Business Lending section of the broker forms page holds the business finance forms.
For a client eligible for Westpac’s Simple+ pathway, use the Simple+ Application Form with the Business Finance Consent form. You complete the Broker Application Form for Business Finance on the client’s behalf, and the client then gives digital consent through Westpac’s BizEdge process.
Westpac’s business loan products are covered in the guide to Westpac business loans. The Broker Hotline’s options cover home loans and BrokerHub. For a commercial enquiry, start with your aggregator or state BDM and ask for the business lending contact.
