St.George Broker Portal: Access and Brand Support

Working across St.George and its sibling bank brands? Use the correct broker portal for accreditation, login, file access and BDM help.

Published
Updated

The St.George broker portal is BrokerHub, which you reach from the BrokerHub Logon button on St.George’s broker website. As at October 2026, accredited brokers use it to lodge deals, track applications, raise escalations and request pricing. For login, file or scenario help, call the St.George Broker Hotline on 1300 137 532.

One BrokerHub sign-in also serves Bank of Melbourne, BankSA and Westpac. So your login proves who you are, but the brand on the application decides which St.George contacts and inboxes handle the file.

This guide covers St.George’s public broker pages, the BrokerHub sign-in page and the contact routes St.George publishes. Screens inside BrokerHub aren’t described.

Official St.George Broker Portal

Start at St.George’s broker website, stgeorge.com.au/broker, and select BrokerHub Logon. As at October 2026, that button opens brokerhub.westpac.com.au, which hands you to the shared BrokerHub sign-in page.

The bank writes its name as St.George, with a full stop and no space. Its legal footer reads St.George Bank, a division of Westpac Banking Corporation. Whichever spelling you search, such as St George broker hub or St.George Bank broker portal, the official destination is this one BrokerHub sign-in.

St.George’s broker pages also name its current lending platform. They describe One Bank Platform as St.George’s new originations system, with applications lodged through ApplyOnline and an Active Settlements summary inside BrokerHub.

Check the Destination Before You Sign In

Check each address before you type a password, because the St.George button leaves stgeorge.com.au for a Westpac address and then returns. These addresses are as at October 2026.

  1. Open the broker website yourself. Type stgeorge.com.au/broker or use a bookmark you made from it. The page is headed “Your home loan partner for brokers”.
  2. Select BrokerHub Logon. The address changes to brokerhub.westpac.com.au and then to a sign-in page on extranetidp.stgeorge.com.au.
  3. Check the sign-in page. It’s headed Welcome to BrokerHub and shows the St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA logos. Its help section lists brokerhub@westpac.com.au and 1300 137 532.
  4. Stop if the address ends anywhere else. Close the page without entering your username or password, then start again from step 1.

The joined spelling in a stgeorge broker portal search matches the bank’s own domain, stgeorge.com.au. A site with a similar name, such as a broker directory or a lookalike domain, is a third party even when it uses St.George’s logo. Only the stgeorge.com.au and brokerhub.westpac.com.au addresses above lead to the official workspace.

Accreditation and Login Access

A BrokerHub login opens St.George files only when you hold St.George Banking Group accreditation for that type of lending. As at October 2026, residential accreditation comes through the Westpac Group process. Commercial lending needs a separate St.George accreditation.

Westpac’s broker accreditation page says Westpac accreditation also accredits you with the St.George Banking Group brands, as at October 2026. Your aggregator starts the application, then you complete online training and an exam. Westpac says your Broker ID usually arrives within five business days of approval.

The Westpac broker portal guide covers that accreditation process in full. If you’re new to the industry, start with the guide to choosing an aggregator as a new broker.

When a Group Login Isn’t Enough

A working group login proves your credentials. It doesn’t prove you hold the accreditation a St.George file needs, or that the file was lodged to St.George under your Broker ID.

Three situations need more than a residential login, as at October 2026.

  • Commercial and business lending. St.George’s commercial broker page requires prior commercial lending experience and a police clearance certificate under six months old. You also need membership of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) or an equivalent body. After six steps, including aggregator sign-off and two training modules, St.George issues an introducer (i) number.
  • A locked account. The sign-in page locks your account after three incorrect passwords, whatever accreditation you hold.
  • Business vehicle and equipment finance follows a separate support route. Use the asset-finance contacts below and confirm professional access with St.George before using mortgage credentials.

If a St.George file you expect doesn’t appear when you track applications, check that it was lodged to St.George under your own Broker ID. A file lodged to Bank of Melbourne, BankSA or Westpac belongs to that brand’s support route.

Restore Access in This Order

Work through these checks in order, so you fix the accreditation before you chase a password. Every route below is as St.George lists it, as at October 2026.

  1. Confirm the brand. Check that the lender on the application is St.George, not a sibling brand.
  2. Confirm your accreditation is active. If you haven’t lodged with the St.George Banking Group for a while, ask your aggregator or call the Broker Hotline on 1300 137 532.
  3. Reset your password. Select Reset Password on the sign-in page. Passwords are case sensitive, so check caps lock and stop after a second failed attempt.
  4. Call for technical help if the reset fails or your account is locked. Call 1300 137 532, select option 1, then option 4 for BrokerHub or passwords. You can also email brokerhub@westpac.com.au.
  5. Check that access is restored. Sign in and open a St.George application you’ve already lodged. If it shows, your access and file permissions are back.

Have your Broker ID, BrokerHub username and aggregator’s name ready before you call. Add the client’s name and the lender reference number if a live file is waiting.

St.George, STG and SGB Names

STG and SGB are short forms of St.George, and both appear on the bank’s own pages and files. SBG, a third variant, stands for St.George Banking Group.

Short formWhat it meansWhere you see it on St.George’s site
STGSt.GeorgeThe settlement inbox settlementinstructionsSTG@stgeorge.com.au and St.George form file names
SGBSt.GeorgeThe equipment finance fee schedule file name and some business banking links
SBGSt.George Banking GroupThe first home owner grant inbox fhoginstructionsSBG@stgeorge.com.au

An STG broker portal or SGB broker portal search means the same BrokerHub sign-in, as at October 2026. Before you use a group login for a file carrying any of these labels, confirm the lender on the application is St.George and that you started from stgeorge.com.au.

File and BDM Support

Send each St.George file question to the Broker Hotline option, document inbox or business development manager (BDM) that owns its stage. Call 1300 137 532 and select option 1, then the option in the table below.

As at October 2026, St.George’s broker contact page lists these routes. The hotline runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and 8am to 6pm Australian Central Standard Time (ACST).

The document inboxes only receive supporting documents, and St.George says pre-approval and settlement documents are imaged within 24 hours. Send any question about those documents to your BDM. For pre-approvals, St.George sets no assessment service level, but the hotline can tell you when an assessor will pick up the file.

Live-File Triage Sequence

Sort a live file’s problem into one of four types before you call, because each type has a different owner. St.George’s routes and lead times below are as at October 2026.

  1. Missing file. Check ApplyOnline shows the application was submitted to St.George. If it was, and BrokerHub doesn’t show it, call hotline option 2 with the lodgement date.
  2. Processing delay. Compare the time since lodgement with St.George’s service lead times page. Raise an escalation in BrokerHub only once the published time has passed.
  3. Technical fault. If you can’t sign in or the file won’t open, follow the access steps above, starting with the password reset.
  4. Scenario question. Take a written policy question to hotline option 5. Take a deal that needs judgement to your St.George BDM.
  5. Confirm the result. Note who you spoke to, the date and the next step promised. If the problem isn’t resolved by that date, take the note to your BDM.

St.George’s lead times measure first touch, the point when St.George first picks up the file, not the approval. The page calls them a guideline, counts business days and applies them to applications in by 5pm AEST. They also assume the application was lodged correctly with every mandated document.

The Accredited, Gold and Flame columns are St.George’s three broker service tiers.

File stageAccreditedGoldFlame
Full application1 day1 day1 day
Approval in principle, self-employed2 days2 days1 day
Returned information1 day1 day1 day
Credit exceptions2 days2 days1 day

Escalations take up to four hours on full applications and up to six hours on credit exceptions. St.George’s minimum required documents checklist must be lodged with every home loan application. A file that misses one of its mandatory items falls outside the conditions behind these times.

Here’s a hypothetical example. You return requested information on a St.George file at 2pm AEST on a Wednesday. With a one-day lead time, St.George should pick it up by the end of Thursday, so raise the escalation in BrokerHub on Friday morning if it hasn’t moved.

Finding Your St.George BDM

St.George names your aggregator or your state BDM as the first port of call, as at October 2026. Your BDM’s details are in BrokerHub. The public contact page lists residential BDMs for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Western Australia, plus commercial BDMs.

Your BDM is the contact for repeated delays, a borderline deal and anything the hotline and inboxes don’t cover. Before you take a scenario to St.George, compare how lenders’ written policies treat it. Bulma’s Scenario Planner checks a client scenario against 52+ lenders’ policies and quotes the policy wording behind each result.

For St.George’s lending rules themselves, use the St.George lender policy guide.

Sibling-Brand Boundaries

St.George shares the BrokerHub sign-in and the 1300 137 532 hotline with Bank of Melbourne and BankSA, while Westpac runs its own broker pages and hotline. So the brand on the application, not the login you used, decides which pages, inboxes and BDMs handle a file. These shared routes are as at October 2026.

Brand on the applicationWhere to go
St.GeorgeThis guide and stgeorge.com.au/broker
WestpacThe Westpac broker portal guide
Bank of MelbourneThe Bank of Melbourne broker portal guide
BankSAThe BankSA broker portal guide

For any other lender, use the broker portal directory.

Confirm the Application Brand First

Confirm the lender named on the application before you follow any Westpac Group support path. As at October 2026, St.George’s own inboxes use stgeorge.com.au addresses, and its settlement inbox carries the STG prefix.

  1. Check the lodgement. Look at the lender selected when the application was submitted through ApplyOnline.
  2. Check the paperwork. Read the lender name on any request, approval or loan document for the file.
  3. Choose the route. Use the St.George routes in this guide only when both checks say St.George.
  4. Switch if they don’t. For a Westpac-branded application, follow the Westpac guide. If you followed a Bank of Melbourne link by mistake, use the Bank of Melbourne guide.

Because the three St.George Banking Group brands share one hotline number, tell the hotline the brand when you call. That stops a St.George file being looked up as a Bank of Melbourne or BankSA file.

St.George Auto and Equipment Finance

St.George’s Equipment Finance Portal is no longer available. As at October 2026, its Equipment Finance Portal page says the portal is no longer available. The same page says St.George sold its Auto Finance portfolio to Resimac Asset Finance on 1 March 2025.

That portal gave St.George’s equipment finance customers their account details and payout quotes. Those customers now get statements and payout quotes on 1300 301 315.

A client whose St.George car loan moved to Resimac contacts Resimac on 1300 904 639. Resimac’s lending rules are in the Resimac asset finance guide.

For new business finance, St.George lists vehicle and equipment finance from $15,000, with terms from one to seven years. Clients request a quote online, and St.George says it responds within two business days. This sits outside BrokerHub’s residential mortgage workspace, so ask your St.George commercial BDM before you take an asset deal to St.George.

The St.George car finance guide covers the bank’s vehicle lending, and the equipment finance guide compares other routes. For a home loan file, confirm the St.George brand, start from stgeorge.com.au/broker and send each question to the hotline option or BDM that owns its stage.

Check the policy behind your next scenario

Ask Bulma a lender policy question and inspect the source behind the answer.
